Event Introduction

Financial institutions have existed since time immemorial. The most exciting of these is undoubtedly the stock market. In this event, we simulate a stock environment in all its magical realism. This event has had a memorable history with the heat rising high in the battle of the monies. This event sees the bulls and bears battle it out on all days of ENGINEER.

• It is an online web-browser based interactive event.
• The participant can play from anywhere on the internet.
• The participant will be provided with virtual money to buy stock.
• Logins will be provided for each participant, and he/she can login/logout anytime (during the business hours) and transact.
• The game is not necessarily favorable to participants who spend more time in front of the application, but rather to those who make judicious decisions in buying/selling of shares at suitable prices.
• The mock stock market simulates the real world-trading business where one can buy only when someone else is ready to sell at the agreed value.
• A rules and regulations handbook and a tutorial for using the web-based game interface will be made available before the start of the event.
• The participant with the maximum net-holdings at the end of the day’s play will be declared the winner of that day’s play.

Event Format

• 1(One) player game (However, ask others to compete. That makes winning more exciting.)
• It is a daily event. Each day the market will open with new shares and money. Previous transaction of participants will not be taken into account.
• Online event
• No entry fee
• Registration required

Rules and Regulations

• Student must provide the proof of authenticity whenever required.
• Any transaction by a participant/ group of participants found questionable/ fraudulent will lead to the immediate termination of their candidature from the event.

All decisions of the organizing Committee are binding and final.
