Event Introduction

Blueprint, the paper presentation contest held as part of Engineer attracts some of the best minds from all over the country. In this event, participants are invited to present papers spanning various research topics pertaining to the different branches of engineering. In this, we particularly deal with Chemical Engineering section.

Suggested list of topics for Blueprint - Chemical

• Chemical reaction engineering : Reaction kinetics, applied catalysis, simulation and optimization of different types of reactors, unsteady-state reactors, multiphase reactors, and fundamental investigations of the processes of heat, mass and momentum transfer that take place along with chemical reaction. Reactor materials, control strategies, reactor safety and environmental issues
• Bio-chemical engineering : Optimisation of fermenter conditions for different types of fermenters, effect of chemicals on the expression of proteins,
• Fluid mechanics : Phase stability analysis, Stability of Poiseuille-Couette Flow,
• Nano technology : Role of nano-particles in chemical engineering, use of nanotechnology in drug delivery systems,
• Process control : Control system improvement, Iterative Feedback Tuning, designing of robust control strategies for industrial equipment, Control performance assessment.

Note: The topics listed above are only indicative and not exhaustive. If your research does not fall in one or more of the above categories, but is related to Chemical Engineering in general, please do not hesitate to submit your paper. We will accept and review research in other fields related to Chemical Engineering as well.
