Here's the chance to match your skills at astronomy with the best in business. At ENGINEER Golden Jubilee Edition, Star wars gives you the opportunity to do just that. The event encompasses the complete astro-buff starting with a treasure-hunt-like online round. The basics of astrophysics will be tested in the next round, which will be followed by the grand finale where teams battle it out to emerge victorious. The team that has figured the night sky best will stand in good stead to win the war!!!

Event Format

The event will consist of three rounds.

* WEB ROUND - The first round at Star Wars will be conducted online before Engineer Golden Jubilee Edition. This “Web Round” shall be based on a storyline through which the team is expected to unravel the mysteries of the Universe.

* SIDDHANTA – This round which will be held during Engineer @ NITK is a written round featuring questions on astrophysics, logic and mathematics. It will test the teams’ proficiency in concepts and applications related to these fields. Only select teams qualify past this stage.

* DHRUVA – Those of you who make the cut brace yourselves for impact. Star Wars will culminate in a ‘Mega Quiz’ which will blow you away with a stunning range of questions, breathtaking visuals and much more that will test your wits in astronomy and star gazing.

Rules and Regulations

* A team can have maximum of 2 members.

* No student can be part of more than one team.

* A particular team may comprise of participants from different institutions.

* There is no restriction on the number of teams from the same college.

Judging Criteria

* The “Web Round” will be a bonus round. Teams would carry forward their points earned from this round to the subsequent stages.

* Evaluation will consider scores from all the rounds progressively.
